Try as we might, the life we live does not arrive bubble wrapped, inside of a suitable box, and stamped with a large Handle With Care label. Sometimes it resembles a torn open, rain-soaked package that has been drop kicked onto the doorstep, landing upside down.

Our willingness to say “no” shapes our character and establishes boundaries that reflect our values. By courageously declining what doesn’t serve us, we gain clarity and freedom to become our most authentic selves.

No matter how hard we try, sometimes our best is just not enough…and that is okay!
